The Upper Room® is a global ministry dedicated to supporting the spiritual formation of Christians seeking to know and experience God more fully. From its beginnings as a daily devotional guide, The Upper Room has grown to include publications, programs, prayer support, and other resources to help believers of all ages and denominations move to a deeper level of faith and service. The Upper Room is a part of Discipleship Ministries.

Bimonthly copies of the Upper Room’s Daily Devotional Guide are available at the church for a nominal donation to help cover the cost of the magazine.

Pockets (Kids Devotional)

packetsPockets® is a 48-page devotional magazine for children ages 6-12, published by The Upper Room®. Launched in 1981, the magazine began as a response to parents and grandparents who wanted a devotional magazine especially for children. The magazine is published 11 times per year (January/February is a combined issue). Pockets is designed for the personal use of children to help them grow in their relationship with God. Pockets includes full-color photos, stories, poems, games, mission-focused activities, daily scripture readings, nonfiction features, and contributions from children who read the magazine.

Free copies of this devotional are available in the entryway each month.

Online Class

United Methodist Communications offers church training live, online and even provides do-it-yourself opportunities to help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to be an effective church leader.  This online course is designed for new United Methodists and anyone wanting to learn more about what it means to be a United Methodist.
