Music Ministry

gather300

Music in worship is part of a very long and important tradition.  John Wesley, the inspiration for the Methodist church, and his brother Charles Wesley wrote many of the traditional hymns still sung today. Our church combines a variety of musical traditions into each worship service.  This is sometimes referred to as a blended service.

Our Music Director, Tim Smith, brings all of our music to life in vibrant, inspirational, and meaningful ways. The music in our worship includes congregational singing, choral singing, and special music performances by some of our many talented members.

Worship Choir

All are welcome to join our Worship Choir.  They rehearse most Sundays before worship at 8:30am.  They are always looking for new voices.

Praise Band

The praise band is under the direction of the Music Director and leads the inspiring music during worship. If you are musically gifted and would love to play in the band, please let Tim know! Rehearsal is Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm.

Handbell Choir

Our Handbell Choir plays in worship about once a month.  We have 3 octaves of Handbells, plus 2 octaves of Hand Chimes.   We play beginner and intermediate level pieces, so new ringers are always welcome.  The Handbell Choir practices on Wednesdays at 7:30pm, except the summer.
